2002 - House, Mosman, NSW, Australia
Stage: Completed 2005

Renovations to this Californian Bungalow in Mosman included extending the rear of the house with a split level to create new kitchen and living spaces, with a rumpus room below opening to ground level. Multi-panel folding doors open from the kitchen and living room onto a north facing rear deck. The first floor addition has 4 bedrooms, bathrooms, with the master suite opening onto a tiled deck which captures sweeping harbour views. The house is rendered and painted with tiled roof and timber windows.

The new look is definitely contemporary with hints of the original era. The client is delighted with the liveability of the new layout. They particularly enjoy the separation between child and adult zones and the amenity provided by the sunny outdoor entertaining area. Every room in the new house is fully utilized and will adapt to their evolving needs.
